16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence

We’re pleased to invite you to the showcase of art pieces from our Lived Experience Art Exhibition for 16 Days of Activism.

The exhibition draws upon the lived experience of women who have been impacted by family violence. The strength and resilience of the women has been showcased through creative expressions, highlighting their journey toward recovery from violence and sharing what ‘Respect is’ means to them.

The exhibition provides an opportunity to platform the artistic expression of victim-survivors through an empowering and therapeutic process to highlight what respect means to them. Regaining power and control of their lives is an important part of the healing journey for victim-survivors and we are pleased to provide this art exhibition as one form of advocacy for those impacted by violence in our community.

Join us as we come together for 16 Days of Activism.
